Bring yourself and your fishing licence. Everything else comes as standard:

• Sage rods and Sage or Lamson reels
• Custom tied flies and fluorocarbon or monofilament tippet
• Breathable waders and wading boots, or shorts and polypropylene thermal pants in summer
• Polaroid sunglasses and a sunhat, including fit-over polaroids if you wear glasses
• Sunscreen and insect repellent
• A fresh bakery made lunch, drinks and snacks, with options discussed before the day
• Travel by four wheel drive, and Department of Conservation access and concession fees

If you would rather fish your own rod, bring it. Thermal tops, waterproof jackets and gaiters are available to hire for a few dollars a day if you need them.
